As we speak I'm ordering my XCR in 7.62x39 tonight
This bastard ain't cheap, but the ammo is. I've made a few changes, collapsible stock, and a KILLER muzzle break
VLTOR Modstock M4 style collapsing stock Kit MagPul Rail Guards X 3 PWS FSC30 Muzzel Break Here are some videos that aren't commifornia compliant, but shows what the XCR is all about... For the record it's not about blasting rounds every where, it's about being accurate. This rifle and the up and coming Bushmaster ACR, which is not released, will be absolute disasters to defend against. Keep this in mind, if your aggressive, the better plan and weapon wins, every damn time.... And this one.... |

That sure is nice, looked like no climb at all on full auto.

Awesome. I'm truly jealous. I think you can use AR mags, but you only get about 20 rounds in them.

Looks like some international genetic mix here. The lower receiver, trigger group, and bolt assembly are AR and the gas system AK.

FYI, the 7.62x39 magazine has had some initial issues because it's a custom mag and you can't use AK mags, and since I've got 2 preban 30 rounders I'm kinda pissed about it. Like you guys have mentioned, the XCR basically takes the best features of a series of guns to make one gun. I've heard rumors that they're working on a .308 conversion but I don't think they'll be able to do that without a larger receiver. BTW - Has anyone seen the Bushmaster ACR AKA Magpul Masada? This muther bitch is awesome also, but I don't believe it's out yet, but check this out.... |
Re: As we speak I'm ordering my XCR in 7.62x39 tonight
I talked to them a few weeks back and they said the XCR-M (.308) is schedule for market in the summer of 2009. I'm thinking about going to SHOT this spring, and if so I hope to handle one.

:favorites21: I'm sorry, but Kel-Tec does not have a reputation for quality that would merit that kind of pricing. |
